Castle Rock Chamber Postpones 17th Annual Castle Rock WineFest

The Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce has made the difficult decision to postpone the 17th Annual Castle Rock WineFest event scheduled for July 18th.  Since 2003, this outdoor wine tasting event draws wine aficionados for the enormous variety of Colorado wines.  Selected by the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board, Castle Rock WineFest is one of only five officially sanctioned Colorado Wine Festivals showcasing more than 180 varietals of Colorado wine.

Since the beginning of the pandemic the Chamber has been working diligently focusing on helping our business community meet the challenges they face, whether they be financial, managerial, regulatory, or otherwise.  Unfortunately, the Chamber as well has been affected by the uncertainties and ever-changing times.  Ridler commented, "It is with great disappointment that we announce the postponement of the Castle Rock WineFest.  Due to increased state restrictions and loss of some of our traditional winery vendors we have made the difficult decision to postpone Winefest. The health and safety of our patrons, wineries, vendors, sponsors, and our community is our number one priority.  We are simply unable to provide the high-quality event that our past patrons have grown accustomed to at this point in time.”

This event has been postponed, not cancelled, and all pre purchased tickets will be honored at the event when it is rescheduled. The Chamber is working diligently with government and health officials to determine a new date and to put on the best event they can while maintaining the health and safety of our community as their highest priority.  If you are not able to attend the new date, tickets are transferable (much like a concert ticket) and made to be resold/transferred.

As the Chamber celebrates its 65th anniversary as “the Voice of Business in Douglas County” rest assured they will continue to support, promote, and advocate for our business community. Changes are continually happening at the Chamber to maintain relevance, and to assist in providing the best possible service to their members and the community.  Membership is a great investment in the future of Castle Rock and your business.  For more information or to join the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, please visit CastleRock.org or call 303-688-4597.
